Wow… That’s what I thought when I first saw that picture, and, well, honestly, I’m still feeling the same!
Contrast and definition, both high on the foreground and model, nicely fade out in the mist over the successive planes of cliff. This draws nearly all the attention over the model, whose pose, lighting, etc. are nearly perfect to my taste (even though not highly original, but I guess it’s not really a problem here).
The only minor criticism I’d make concerns the (background) composition. Instinctively, I find it a bit odd, yet I have some hard time finding what’s not right… After some reframing attempts, I could not reach a satisfying solution, Perhaps too much squarish ? Or the upper part of the background too much half/half divided ? I think that ideally, I would have liked either a bit more of dark cliff, or a bit more of light mist!
But again, this is a minor issue, the picture gives me a great feeling of cold serenity, with a touch of fantasy… I like it very much!
